Working with Garcinia Cambogia: Things to Remember

The benefits of Garcinia cambogia are all over the internet.  It is nearly impossible to open up the internet without seeing an ad for this trending fruit.  With promises like rapid weight loss, battle depression, lower cholesterol, boost energy, suppress hunger, lower blood sugar, and increased metabolism, it’s no wonder that people are figuratively breaking the internet trying to get their hands on this stuff.  For a more detailed and much more scientific breakdown, look here:

Once you do manage to get a hold of these supplements, it’s important to be careful.  As with all diet pills, there are certain things you need to do to protect yourself from any potential side effects.  It’s not as easy as simply swallowing the pill.  You have to be an active participant in your weight loss journey.  If it was easy, everyone would do it.  You have to be motivated.  If the before and after pictures are anything to believe, staying motivated shouldn’t be a problem.

1.    Stay hydrated

You may start to notice that you crave water much more than usual.  This is normal.  Simply drink more water.  Carry a water bottle around with you at all times, just so you can keep your body well-nourished.

2.    Follow a high fiber and nutrition diet

Your body is going to be eating the fat that its already stored.  You need to be able to get those toxins out of your body.  It wouldn’t be a good thing for broken down fat to stick around in your system.  Where else would it go besides right back where it came from?  Stick to high fiber so you can literally flush the fat away.

3.    Don’t skip a meal

Your appetite is going to be suppressed, and it will be tempting to simply not eat.  This will slow your metabolism and the effectiveness of this pill.  Follow your diet plan.  If it calls for you to eat six times a day, do it – even if you aren’t hungry.  The appetite suppression is supposed to help your will power in between meals.  It’s not supposed to help you develop an eating disorder.

4.    Follow the dose instructions properly

Your supplements should come with instructions on the bottle.  Whether it be to take one pill daily for three days and then up the dosage depending on your tolerance, ensure that you follow the directions.  They are there for a reason.  It is entirely possible to overdose on this pill, and experience some really crummy side effects.  If at any time, you become lightheaded or dizzy, or you simply have questions about how much you should take, call your medical practitioner.  It is better to err on the side of the caution.

Though typically a dose is between 300 mg to 500 mg per day, this can vary depending on your height, weight, gender, age, and lifestyle.  It’s always a good idea to introduce garcinia cambogia slowly into the body in order to gauge your reaction to it.
